If you weren’t at last Tuesday's 32-5A district finale, you missed one of the most thrilling home games in recent memory.

After trailing by as many as 24 points in the second half, the Raiders stormed back, grabbed the lead late in the fourth quarter, and held on for a 79–73 victory over rival Edcouch-Elsa High School—a team that entered the night with only two district losses.

Sophomore Reggie Clark led the charge with 33 points, while three other Raiders finished in double figures: Logan Hinojosa (16), Cristian Vergara (12), and Angel Montoya (11). Outstanding rebounding and relentless defense fueled a dominant second half, as the Raiders outscored the Yellowjackets after the break.

With Tuesday night’s win, the Raiders close the regular season at 13–5 in district play and now await their bi-district opponent in the 5A state playoffs.
