Gianna Llorente and Kaitlyn Vela have qualified for the 2026 THSWPA State Championships, marking a significant achievement in their high school powerlifting careers.

The Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) state meet will be held during Spring Break week at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, bringing together top competitors from across Texas.

Llorente and Vela advanced through regional competition earlier today to secure their spots among the state’s elite.
