Cristian Vergara earned his associate degree from Texas Southmost College before receiving his high school diploma, a remarkable achievement that reflects years of discipline, sacrifice, and commitment in the classroom.

Throughout high school, Vergara successfully balanced the rigor of college-level coursework while continuing to meet the demands of a challenging academic schedule and competing at a high level on the court. During his junior and senior seasons, he played an important role in helping Rivera Basketball reach the UIL State Playoffs.

Achievements like these define the standard of our program. We are proud of Cristian, just as we are proud of every student-athlete who commits themselves to excellence in academics, athletics, and personal growth.
