A big #RaiderNation shoutout to Team Texans for making the trip all the way from Estado de México to visit Rivera Early College High School and attend our first official practice of the 2026 football season. We were honored to welcome them to the Rivera Training Facility.

Team Texans is led by AFFEMEX League President Gerardo Cota and Head Coach Jose Luis Mastache. Their program includes multiple teams ranging from 6U flag football to 20U full-contact football, providing opportunities for young athletes to develop and compete at every level.

During their visit, the group met with Offensive Coordinator Armando Medrano and Defensive Coordinator Raul Maraboto for a clinic-style session focused on offensive and defensive philosophies, scheme installation, and program development. It was a great opportunity for both coaching staffs to exchange ideas, build relationships, and continue growing the game of football across borders.
